Till Joins TNS

TNS has appointed Kimberly Till as President of its business in North America. Her previous experience includes work for Microsoft, AOL, Sony and the FBI.

Till joins on May 1 and will be responsible for the US and Canadian custom research businesses. She has extensive experience in media & entertainment and technology businesses, most recently as VP of the Worldwide Media and Entertainment Group at Microsoft, responsible for its P&L in the Communications Sector.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2003, she was Senior VP and General Manager of AOL international, covering non-US operations and helping to grow international membership to nearly 8 million. She worked earlier at Sony Corporation of America, as Senior VP of Strategic Planning and Marketing, responsible for strategies and marketing for Sony Music, Sony Pictures, and Sony Electronics. In addition, she was selected for the prestigious White House Fellowship, where she served as a Special Assistant to the former U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of Agriculture and to the Director of the FBI.

The appointment follows the arrival and new global strategy of CEO David Lowden, focusing TNS' service offerings around four core principles: client orientation; service excellence and cost efficiency; expertise and innovation; and people development.

Lowden comments 'We are pleased to welcome Kimberly to TNS as her outstanding achievements in client-driven businesses and broad international experience align well with our strategy of providing unparallel strategic insight to our clients'.
