Zogby Hires for Expansion

Polling firm Zogby International has announced nine recent hires and two promotions to support what President and CEO John Zogby calls 'an aggressive strategic global plan' - as well as expansion within the US market.

The nine are:
  • Christopher Koehnke, Washington D.C. Office Manager
  • Shane Nelson, International Division Executive
  • Fritz Wenzel, Director of Communications
  • Ashraf Faramawi, International Project Manager
  • Jonathan Zogby, Director of Domestic Business Development
  • Phillip Vanno, Assistant Editor
  • Mark Warner, Editor/Writer
  • Kimberly Wyborski, Human Resource Coordinator
  • Paul Zogby, Systems Assistant.
In addition, Leann Atkinson has been promoted to Project Manager and Christian Peck to Client Strategy Manager.

The firm has also added its annual class of summer interns from top universities, seven of whom are working in the US and one in the recently opened Dubai office, which serves new and existing clients and reflects its pioneering approach to developing public opinion research in the Middle East. Zogby also surveyed US troops serving in Iraq about their thoughts on the war effort.

John Zogby says he is pleased to have brought in 'a mix of local people from some of the finest schools around, and people from the outside to add a new and different perspective.' He adds: 'The next step for us is to develop a new package of strategic, marketing, and management services based on the wealth of data we have produced over the past three decades'.
