Knowledge Networks Continues Rapid Growth

Knowledge Networks (KN) has announced results for the second quarter of 2006, showing revenue of $9.2m, up 27% year-on-year, and continued positive net income.

KN is owned by its management and five leading venture capital firms. It was ranked no.24 in the recently published 2006 Honomichl Top 50 ranking of US research firms, and was the 4th-fastest-growing, during the years 2000 to 2005, according to industry newsletter Inside Research, with 269% growth.

The company's key resources include its projectable web-based consumer panel, its expertise in brands, media, advertising, and analytics and its rigorous methodology, which have also helped it build a substantial practice in government and academic research.

KN says it has recently received its highest ever client satisfaction ratings, with 84% of clients who responded to post-engagement surveys said they were 'very satisfied' with its work, and 97% indicating that they would recommend the company to others. CEO Simon Kooyman, who was last week appointed to the board of Data Capture firm OmniComm Systems (DRNO www.mrweb.com/drno/news5762.htm ), comments: 'We see a direct connection between KN's success and its ability to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.'
