Global Remit for TNS Interactive

TNS has today announced the launch of a Global Interactive business unit, led by Arno Hummerston as MD, and bringing together three co-ordinated areas – commercial, development and Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) support.

The unit's commercial team will promote group-wide interactive innovations and developments, encouraging a standardised and global positioning of Interactive Research within TNS and a seamless availability of expertise where relevant to clients. The team will work with the TNS sectors and regions to increase Interactive revenues and improve margins.

Meanwhile the development team will provide a central resource for the creation of group-wide applications, including the Emerging Trends Laboratory to investigate new technologies; and the central CAWI group will support local teams by sharing best practices and driving continuous service improvements.

John Abraham, the group's Head of Strategic Development and Marketing, says Hummerston has 'spearheaded the development of our interactive research over a number of years'. He adds 'The new Global Interactive division will enable us to marry our strengths in interactive research with local expertise and offer clients the most innovative research tools available.'

The firm is online at www.tns-global.com .
