Harris Launches Service Bureau in Europe

Harris Interactive has launched a European unit for its Service Bureau. HISB Europe will offer MR firms in Europe a range of services including telephone, face-to-face and online data collection, the SynTrack Online survey transitioning service and Integrated CATI-WAPI (ICW), among others.

Harris Interactive's SynTrack Online is a consultative approach for transitioning studies previously conducted by telephone, mail or face-to-face methodologies to online methodology while preserving trend data.

Bruce Hoang, who becomes Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for the new unit, comments: 'Our European team, which has operated in a service bureau capacity for nearly a decade under the Research Europe, HI Europe and Novatris banners, will remain focused on upholding the highest standards of data collection and customer service quality in the entire industry. The launch of HISB Europe represents not only an expansion of our suite of services but also our continuing commitment to meeting the changing needs of our market research clients.'

HISB in the US was set up just under a decade ago and provides consultative support, mixed-mode data collection services, panel development solutions, and online syndicated and tracking transition expertise to provider companies. Lorraine Williams, President of HISB US, says the two teams will work closely together and calls the new unit 'a profoundly important step in the continuing evolution and expansion of the Harris Interactive Service Bureau.'
