Specialist Recruiter Growing Fast
In the UK, specialist MR and marketing communications recruiter RPCushing Recruitment has expanded its team from 20 to 31 staff members in the past six months.
The growth means the firm has ten additional recruitment consultants. Those with research specialisms include Inger Christensen, previously of Fieldwork International; Chris Martin, previously of Fresh Minds; and the returning Katie Brown, all in the MR team; and Lauren Phillips, previously of Millward Brown, in the Field, Data Processing and Operations team. Six others are new in the Marketing & Communications, Design & Creative and Sales / BusDev teams while Caren Ware joins as PA and Office Manager.
MD Paul Cushing says the expansion reflects the strength of the sector and the continued demand for specialist recruiters with first-hand industry knowledge. 'This year we have focused very much on bringing in people with relevant industry experience and the right attitude. Both our clients and candidates respond well to consultants who are aware of what skills and attributes suit particular MR and marketing roles' says Cushing.
