Digital Media Appointment for ABI

ABI Research has appointed Judith Rosall as Principal Analyst, Digital Media, focusing on the digital media and mobile content marketplaces. She worked as a Research Director at Gartner, IDC and The Aberdeen Group in addition to a number of client side roles.

At ABI, Rosall's remit covers digital media and mobile content, its creation, packaging, distribution, and management, and in particular the quantification of markets and the identification of emerging trends and business models.

A frequent author and speaker, her recent experience includes founding two research consultancies, Worldscape Strategies and PROBE the Market, which focused on the emerging digital convergence marketplace. Rosall's client side experience includes time as Lead Marketing Professional and Telecommunications Consultant for Qwest Communications, Bank of Boston (now Bank of America) and PepsiCo. She holds a BS degree in Journalism and an MS degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Clint Wheelock, ABI's VP of Research, says the complex world of digital media 'requires a top-notch analyst to help our clients navigate an uncertain market. Judith's rich analytical experience and wealth of industry knowledge are a perfect match for this challenge.' Director of Digital Home Research Mike Wolf adds: 'Nearly every company in media, consumer electronics and connectivity is looking for guidance in these fast moving markets as long-time models for content distribution rapidly move towards IP and network-based delivery.'

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in New York, ABI Research is on the web at www.abiresearch.com .
