Forecasters Announce Automotive Partnership
US automotive research and forecasting firm CSM Worldwide has formed a strategic alliance with the German firm Feri Rating & Research GmbH. In addition to pooling forecasting and database expertise, the partners plan to conduct joint research into automotive decision-making.
Feri's economics team of 75 tracks and forecasts data series across 79 countries using advanced economic databases and forecasting models and covering real estate, retail and other markets. Information including exchange rate calculations, demographic and income cohorts, commodity price projections and wage data will now be built into CSM's global forecast.
Craig Cather, CSM Worldwide President and CEO, comments: 'Beyond supporting our forecast, we have plans with Feri to conduct joint research in the field of decision sciences, which is an exciting endeavor with large potential impact for strategic planning in the (automotive) industry.'
