Auto Association Members to Boost Panel

Canada's Decima Research is to grow its online panel eVox rapidly via an agreement with the country's automobile association, CAA. CAA's five million plus members will be invited to join the 14,000-strong panel whose size Decima expects to more than double in the coming months.

Decima works for clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors, and for two years in a row has been named among Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, by Deloitte, CIBC and the National Post. Its full time staff of 130 use telephone data collection as well as online, and it has been a supplier to CAA for a number of years.

Members of CAA, a federation of 9 automobile clubs, can earn rewards and incentives if they join the panel. Decima CEO Bruce Anderson comments: 'With over 5 million members, cutting across all walks of life, CAA is a terrific partner for Decima... Going forward, we expect continued rapid growth in [the online] segment of our business, based on our ability to provide fast, accurate and reasonably priced insights into well profiled segments of the Canadian population.' CAA's Lucy Imperiale, Director of National Programs, adds 'We are pleased to see our working relationship with Decima develop into a partnership; Decima has always provided CAA with quality research. Having more access to the company's research services will enable us to be more responsive to our members and better equip us to meet their needs.'

Decima, with offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Chicago, is on the web at: www.decima.com . CAA's home page is at www.caa.ca .
