Harris Backs Fast-Growing Loyalty Practice

Harris Interactive has underlined ambitions for its Loyalty practice with three senior hires. Industry veterans and loyalty specialists Bill Salokar, John Jessen and Sandy Lasky will focus on distinct sectors and clients, each taking the title of Vice President, Senior Consultant.

The practice, which helps clients research, identify and prioritize loyalty and advocacy-focused initiatives to improve and sustain business performance, has doubled in size in the last six months, according to Stephan Sigaud, Group President, Harris Interactive Loyalty. The growth has deepened its coverage of 'key industries such as finance, technology, travel and leisure, healthcare and consumer packaged goods' according to Sigaud, who adds: 'Bill, John and Sandy will expand Loyalty's influence within these industries by focusing on unique market segments.'

The consultants will be responsible for partnering with key clients to develop individual research programs, and will also help drive the adoption of the Loyalty group's methodological approach, The Commitment Model.

Salokar has more than 20 years of research and management experience, most recently as an MR Manager with the American Cancer Society, leading its first comprehensive customer loyalty initiative. Previous work also includes time as an Account Director at TNS NFO. He holds an M.S. degree in Statistics and a B.A. in Mathematics from Florida State University, and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jessen has over 25 years of research-based management consulting experience in the telecommunications, IT, aviation and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Harris, he founded Soundings Research. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Oregon, and an M.A. in Quantitative Social Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He was also a post-graduate research and teaching fellow at Stanford University's Institute for Communications Research.

Lasky has over 20 years of experience in the finance, insurance, entertainment, health and food industries, most recently as Vice President of Market Research with financial b2b customer loyalty specialist Chatham Partners. She worked previously at State Street Corporation, Progressive Insurance and H.J.Heinz. She holds a B.S. in Economics from the State University of New York and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts.
