Research Now Growth On Track
Online panels firm Research Now has made an interim financial statement reporting sales growth on target. Operating profit missed its target due specifically to the £500,000 cost of relocating after the murder in January of Finance Manager Cathy Marlow.
The firm moved to temporary premises following the murder, which happened at its head office in south London on Saturday 13th January. A permanent move was then made to a new location close to Waterloo Station.
Research Now says organic sales for the six months to April, excluding recently purchased Canadian firm OpenVenue, increased by 130% to c.£8.1m.
In a statement, the company says its operations have 'now recovered fully from the disruption' and it has 'recorded significant sales growth in every territory in the half year, with record organic sales being achieved in both March and April'. Further growth is expected in the second half of the financial year, across all its global regions.
Matthew Fagan, a 31-year-old unemployed US citizen living in south London, was charged at the end of January with the murder (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6375.htm ). He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey, London's Central Criminal Court, next week.
