Acquisition Unites Japanese Healthcare Researchers

Japanese MR firm INTAGE has bought healthcare research specialist TM Marketing for an undisclosed sum. TM will absorb INTAGE's own medical research department and continue trading under its existing name.

Former VP Yoshiya Nishi will take on the role of CEO and President of the new TM Marketing. He comments: 'Recent changes in the cost and provision of healthcare services in Japan have shifted more focus from physicians to patients. Our expertise in research among healthcare professionals and INTAGE's vast consumer research infrastructure will allow us to respond dynamically to these market changes.'

INTAGE offers a wide range of healthcare research services through traditional and online custom research, online tracking of pharma rep activities, and clinical trial services through its wholly owned subsidiary, ASKLEP.
