New Office and Leader for Kelton Research

US MR, PR and crisis communication firm, Kelton Research, has opened in Washington, DC and recruited crisis communication media consultant Buckley Carlson to lead the firm's expansion.

Carlson has spent the past 14 years in politics, public relations, corporate intelligence gathering, and strategic research analysis. He has worked on two presidential campaigns, served as a speechwriter to California Governor Pete Wilson, and was active in the National Tobacco Wars of '97-'98. Buckley was previously Executive VP of McCarthy Communications, the crisis management and strategic planning firm, until March, 2005 when he became Executive Producer of the Danger Zone radio show on ABC Radio, which he still produces. Prior to working for McCarthy, Buckley was the VP of Luntz Research Companies.

Carlson commented: 'Not only does Kelton combine a wealth of institutional knowledge about all aspects of media, product marketing, language development, and strategic research, but they move fast, efficiently, and with incredibly innovative techniques. There is no dearth of opportunity for Kelton here in Washington.'

Kelton, which is known for hiring former print journalists, editors, Emmy Award-winning producers and reporters to work with its researchers, already has offices in Los Angeles and New York, and is online at www.keltonresearch.com .
