Doxus Merged with Market Strategies
In the US, full service provider Market Strategies International (MSI) is to merge with technology specialist Doxus. Doxus will become MSI's Technology Industry Group, with its principal partners Robert Stone and Theo Downes-Le Guin staying at its head but also joining the Executive Committee of MSI.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
MSI's existing divisions cover Energy; Financial Services; Global Life Sciences; Healthcare; and Government, Foundation and Academics. The firm is headquartered in Livonia, MI, with regional offices in Portland, OR, New Providence, NJ, and Alexandria, VA, and was founded in 1989. Before the merger, it was ranked 20th in the 2006 Honomichl Top 50 US research firms.
Dr. Andrew Morrison, MSI Chairman and CEO, says the Doxus team are 'highly skilled and experienced market researchers who know the technology industry intimately', and adds: 'We are excited to add another strong sector to our existing industry groups.'
