nTAG Secures $8.3m in Funding

Boston-based event data management firm nTAG has raised $8.3 million in funding, which will be used to increase its research and development activity.

Since 2002, the nTAG Event Data Management (EDM) system has provided advanced tools for capturing and analysing event data such as level of networking activity, session attendance, levels of attendee satisfaction and exhibitor performance. The system also delivers data for marketing and ROI analysis, and automates feedback through electronic surveys which are tabulated and available in real-time.

The investment has been made by Sevin Rosen Funds and Pilot House Ventures. Pilot House Partner Margaret Lawrence says nTAG 'has the technology and the management prowess to revolutionise the $168 billion corporate event industry.' nTag CEO David Goretski says the two investors 'have been instrumental in leading nTAG toward its next growth phase.'

The company's home page is at www.ntag.com.
