Devonshire Joins Arbitron Board

Media and ratings firm Arbitron has elected former Motorola CFO David Devonshire to its Board, where he will serve on Audit and Technology Strategy committees.

David DevonshireDevonshire continues as Executive VP at Motorola, where he has worked since 2002. He has 15 years' experience gained in senior roles at Ingersoll-Rand, Owens Corning, Honeywell, The Mead Corporation, Baxter International and American Hospital Supply Corporation. Devonshire also serves as a Director on the Boards of ArvinMeritor and Roper Industries.

'Technology continues to be an important component for the continued growth of Arbitron's media and marketing research business. The insights and leadership that David brings in working with technology companies will be significant assets for Arbitron,' says Chairman, President and Chief Executive Steve Morris.

Devonshire earned a BSc in Accounting from Widener University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University.
