Online video analytics firm TubeMogul has appointed David Toth, co-founder of NetRatings, to its Board of Directors.

Having set up NetRatings in 1996, Toth developed partnerships with Nielsen Media Research and ACNielsen to establish the Nielsen//NetRatings service and then took the firm public, serving as President and CEO. Prior to this, Toth was a Vice President at Hitachi Computer Products where he led the Network Products Group and was responsible for the development, sales and marketing of numerous hardware and software products.

Today Toth is a Board member of Integrated Media Measurement, Edgewater Networks, and Sage Sciences. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Brett Wilson, Co-founder and CEO of TubeMogul comments: 'Dave's understanding of Internet analytics and audience measurement has already proven to be invaluable to TubeMogul. His strategic insights are already shaping our product innovation to improve the way video publishers, advertisers, and marketers manage their video productions.'

TubeMogul was founded in 2006 by a group of online video enthusiasts who met while studying at UC Berkeley. The firm's analytic technology aggregates video-viewing data from multiple sources to help publishers measure the impact of marketing campaigns and gather competitive intelligence.
