BioInformatics Boosts Management Team

Arlington-based BioInformatics has hired Jeff Gardner as Director Research & Advisory Services and John Lewis as VP Marketing & Business Development, while Robin Rothrock is promoted to VP Client Relations.

Gardner joins with more than 18 years' client strategy support experience, most recently as Senior VP at business strategy consulting firm nxtMOVE where he managed primary source, qualitative MR and competitive intelligence projects. Before this he was with Technology Catalysts where he evaluated strategic alliance, licensing, and business development opportunities worldwide. Gardner has a BA in Biology from Marietta College.

Lewis has more than ten years' B2B marketing and public relations experience and previously held senior roles at clinical research firm PRA International and GE Capital. He was also previously a partner in an advertising and public relations firm and has been involved with several start-up organisations.

In her new function Rothrock will oversee all market research projects and consult with clients to interpret and help implement research findings. She was previously Director Market Research. Prior to joining BioInformatics in 2002, her career spanned market research, product management, product development and training with companies such as Invitrogen, Life Technologies and Digene. She received her doctorate in Biomedical Sciences/Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Oak Ridge Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and her BA from Hollins University.
