Vovici Appoints Sales Leader
Vovici, the Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) provider headed by former Greenfield Online boss Dean Wiltse, has hired Steve Freeman as SVP of Sales, tasked with setting sales strategy and overseeing all selling activity.
Freeman joins with more than 15 years' experience, having previously worked as VP of North American Sales at enterprise information access software firm Endeca Technologies, where he led a team of more than 100 sales, pre-sales and internal sales reps. Prior to this, Freeman gained experience of channel development, mid market and strategic sales in the business intelligence market for Holistic Systems, Cognos and Business Objects.
Chairman and CEO Wiltse said that the appointment will support Vovici's aggressive expansion plans and increase its reach into international markets.
'Steve is a strategic sales executive with extensive experience across a variety of industries,' said Wiltse. 'As we enter 2008, establishing a revenue stream from channel markets and solidifying our position as a strategic vendor in the Global 5000 will be a key to our continued success. The efforts of Steve and his team will be integral to the company meeting these goals.'
