In the UK, Ipsos MORI MD Mike Everett has taken over the position of CEO from Brian Gosschalk, who has been promoted to CEO of Ipsos Western Europe and joins the group's Management Board with responsibility for Global Public Affairs.

Mike EverettDuring the 12 years since Everett joined from Ernst & Young, he has held a number of senior positions including COO of Ipsos MORI and MD of MORI. He was also a member of the team responsible for completing two management buy-outs, and overseeing the merger of MORI and Ipsos in 2005 (www.mrweb.com/drno/news4668.htm ). In his new role, Everett is responsible for the internal running of the organisation, plus a number of client divisions.

Everett commented: 'I'm delighted about taking over from Brian as CEO. Ipsos MORI is a fantastic business, with great clients and excellent people and I'm looking forward to leading it in the coming years.'

As part of the management changes, Ben Page, MD of Ipsos MORI Public Affairs in the UK, takes on an increased global remit with responsibility for leading the development of work for government and the public sector worldwide. Page, who joined MORI in 1987, was recently named one of the '100 most influential people in the public sector' by the Guardian newspaper.
