RI Senior Moves Continue
Research International (RI) is continuing its leadership re-shuffle with the appointments of Kirk Ward to the newly created position of Global Product Development Leader, Andrew Wish to the new title of Worldwide Infrastructure and Operations Director and John McHarry to Chief Information Officer.
 Ward, who previously served as an EVP and Board Member in RI USA, is also appointed to the group's Worldwide Board. He joined the firm last year with more than 25 years of marketing research experience gained both clientside and agencyside at MarketTools, Innovation Focus-Research, Hershey Foods, Tracy-Locke/BBDO, M/A/R/C and General Mills.
'Kirk's new role is key for our organisation as he will lead the worldwide development of RI's next generation of research tools designed to provide actionable insights to drive the world's largest brands', said Worldwide CEO Bob Meyers.
Meyers explained that the three appointments - along with the changes announced earlier this week (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7846.htm ) - have been designed to further enhance RI's offer and meet the changing needs of its clients.
Wish, who was formerly CEO for RI Africa (www.mrweb.com/drno/news4043.htm ), is tasked with ensuring that RI maintains a strong IT infrastructure and best-in-class databases, systems, and software applications. He will relocate to London from South Africa.
McHarry was previously Director of Western Business Systems at global brewing firm InBev, and before this he worked for Guinness / Diageo as IS Manager. He will support Wish in his new position.
