TNS to launch 24-Hour Turnaround Omnibus

In London, TNS is ready to launch what it claims is the UK's first one-day turnaround Omnibus, aiming to provide clients with an 'instant snapshot of consumer opinion and behaviour'.

From 4 February, the firm's NightLine service will survey a sample of 1,000 British adults, to give clients an immediate response to their consumer-related questions.

Sue Homeyard, Group Director of TNS Consumer Omnibus, explained: 'In our world of 24 hour news and instant messaging, everybody wants results immediately. Our service will enable clients to gain last-minute vital data to enhance a proposal or meeting, to evaluate a crisis as soon as it breaks, and to deliver better customer service in response to an urgent request.'

TNS offers clients an international omnibus service that covers 80 countries through online, face-to-face, telephone, and mixed methodology research. The new service will form part of TNS Consumer Omnibus.

Last month, TNS bought consumer research consultancy Landis Strategy & Innovation for an undisclosed sum (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7683.htm ). The firm's home page is at www.tnsglobal.com.
