Rapid Growth for Greenfield

Greenfield Online has reported a net revenue increase of 30.2% to $38.4m for the fourth quarter of 2007 compared with $29.5m in the same period last year. Although the comparison shopping business grew faster, the firm's Internet Survey solutions segment recorded an impressive 19.2% rise to $26.7m.

The firm's Comparison Shopping division saw a Q4 revenue increase of 65% to £11.7m year on year. Total gross profit for the quarter was $29.7m as compared with $22.5m in the same period in 2006.

'We had a record year,' stated President and CEO Albert Angrisani. 'Record revenue. Record profit. Double digit revenue growth in our comparison shopping and Internet survey solutions businesses. All totally organic. It is gratifying that we have realised the promise of delivering strong organic growth in both businesses in the fourth quarter and for the full year of operations post turnaround.'

For the full year 2008, the company says it expects revenue between $143m and $153m.

The firm is online at www.greenfieldonline.com. Last month, it announced a partnership with ORC owner infoUSA to develop a panel of small business decision makers, powered by infoUSA data (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7819.htm ).
