New Leader for FocusVision
Research technology supplier FocusVision has named Eric Grosgogeat as its new Chief Executive Officer. He joins from Philips Electronics where he served as Vice President and General Manager - Oral Care.
During his time at Philips, he led the growth of Sonicare in North America; prior to this he was Senior Marketing Director of Aurora Foods, responsible for its frozen food business. He began his career at Procter & Gamble working on global brand strategy, and has a long-estalished familiarity with the market research industry.
Monty Yort, Chairman of FocusVision, says Grosgogeat has the right skill set to lead the firm: 'He brings the perfect combination of vision and execution to his new role. FocusVision will benefit immensely from Eric's leadership experience and his proven ability to grow businesses.'
The company, which provides video transmission, recording, and analytical tools for the qual MR industry, was bought out by its management team in 2007 in partnership with private equity firm SV Investment Partners (www.svip.com ), formerly known as Schroder Ventures US.
