Shapira to Lead Ipsos MORI Ethnography Practice

Ipsos MORI has appointed Johanna Shapira as Head of Ethnographic Research at its UK-based Qualitative Hothouse.

In her early career Shapira worked for J. Walter Thompson in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. Her interest in Ethnography developed over 10 years as a Senior Partner at Ogilvy New York working on some of the world's largest brands, from IBM and Unilever to the White House.

'We're always looking for ways to make our qualitative work even more creative and insightful' comments Head of Qualitative Research Sarah Castell. 'Over the last few years we have developed a range of interesting methods, observing and spend time with people outside the usual research events. We've made films for clients ranging from the BBC, to the Electoral Commission, to NIKE. Ipsos MORI's depth of experience and dedication to innovation make it a very exciting professional environment and we're delighted Johanna is joining us.'
