Canadian Launch for Online Survey Firm
Online survey firm QuestBack AS Norway is launching a Canadian operation, QuestBack Canada Inc., led by John McTrusty as MD.
QuestBack was founded in 2000 and has grown rapidly, now with a presence in 19 countries and services and local support in 15 languages. 'We are very excited to finally bring QuestBack into Canada' says CEO Ivar Kroghrud. 'We realized some time ago that Canada is a tremendous opportunity just waiting for us.'
The company's web-based Ask & Act service allows simple online data gathering couple with tools giving users the power to follow up on the information gathered without dependence on back-office research staff or 'costly external consultants' according to McTrusty. He adds: 'We all like to ask questions, but what do we do with this research information? Most of the time, we do very little because it is too complicated and too expensive to react to'.
In addition to its Norwegian HQ, QuestBack currently operates in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, the UK and the USA. Web sites are at www.questback.com and www.questback.ca .
