Livra Panels Opens In Brazil
Buenos Aires-headquartered Livra Panels has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After eight years with the company, Joana Lacerda has transferred from the London sales office to take up the post of Regional Director for Latin America, based in Argentina.
Launched in 1999, Livra Panels provides online access panels in twelve countries across Central and South America, plus panels in Portugal and Spain. The company has more than five years’ experience of conducting online surveys in Brazil and says that opening an office in the country is the natural next step.
Diego Meller, Co-founder and Head of Sales and Marketing, explained: ‘Latin American agencies are finally starting to migrate to online research, and the time has come for them to start taking advantage of the methodology that has already transformed the industry in Europe and the USA. Joana is a pioneer of this industry and is perfectly suited to head this effort.’
According to ESOMAR, last year more than $1.2bn was spent on market research in Latin America, but less than 2% of interviews were conducted online.
The company, which recently formed a partnership with TNS to offer additional panel research services across Latin America, is online at www.livrapanels.com .
