Hirsch Adds CEO Role at Revenue Science

In the US, behavioral targeting technology firm Revenue Science has added the CEO role to that of current President Jeff Hirsch. Bill Gossman steps down after five years as CEO, but will remain on the Board of Directors.

Jeff HirschHirsch, who was promoted to the post of President in May, joined the firm in September 2006 as Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to that he held roles as SVP of Business Development at ValueClick and Chief Revenue Officer of Fastclick.

In addition, Hirsch founded software company Xymox Systems, which he sold in 1995. Earlier in his career, he held sales and marketing management positions in various start-up and later-stage technology and media companies. He has a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Board Member Rob Ward said Gossman's contributions have provided a solid platform and that the Board is pleased to have his continued input. He added: 'Jeff and the rest of the team have delivered spectacular results. Revenue Science is now the dominant player in behavioral targeting and our business has never been stronger, which is why now is the best time to hand over the reins.'
