RIUSA Strengthens Team
In the US, Research International (RI) has appointed Tom Buehrer as SVP/General Manager West Coast, Lisa Kassem as VP, and Jake Steadman as Research Executive.
 Buehrer previously worked at TNS as VP-Microsoft Team North American Regional Account Director, where he led a dedicated team on the Microsoft account to develop and service a range of marketing research solutions. He has an MA in Business Administration from the University of Washington and a BA in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Based in Seattle, WA, Buehrer will take a seat on the RIUSA Board and will report to RIUSA CEO Bridget Armstrong who comments: 'I look forward to the growth and expansion of our business geographically through Tom's vast experience in the technology and telecommunications industries'.
Prior to joining, Kassem ran her own consultancy, Kassem Marketing Management and worked at BBDO, Wachovia and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She has an MA in Management from Georgia State University and a BA in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech University. In her new role, she reports to SVP Wim Keyaerts, and is based in the Stamford office where she will be responsible for a major client in the beverage industry.
'Lisa has a rich experience in marketing and research and is highly motivated to bring our client relationship to the next level,' stated Armstrong.
Kassem has already expanded her team by exporting Jake Steadman from RIUK, where he has worked in a Project Manager role for the past year. Before this, he spent three years at Quadrangle working in both research and consultative roles. Steadman has an MA in Innovation and Technology Management from Sussex University in Brighton, UK.
