IRI Appoints Global Analytics Leader

Consumer specialist Information Resources Inc (IRI) has appointed Hans Jessen as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of European Services and Global Analytics Delivery.

Jessen has more than 10 years of industry experience and joins the firm from Accenture Marketing Sciences where he was a Partner and Director of Global Operations, launching and running the firm's statistics outsourcing group in New Delhi and developing its European media auditing system. Prior to this, he ran the Initiative Consulting group at IPG.

In his new UK-based role, Jessen will report to President Nigel Howlett. He is also responsible for marketing and service innovations throughout Europe.

Says Howlett: 'Hans' unique expertise in multinational analytics innovation, delivery and operations will prove invaluable as we accelerate the development of services which help clients drive truly transformational improvements to their sales and marketing effectiveness.'

The company recently appointed former TNS Access Panels Head Robert Tomei as President, Consumer & Shopper Insights.
