RI Partners for Test Market Tool

Research International (RI) has announced an alliance with STAT'COM to launch a new simulated test market product named MicroTest Nouveau, integrating state of the art modelling of market conditions with a global database of over 40,000 records in order to put results into context.

Paris-based STAT'COM was formed recently by three seasoned researchers and modellers, Alain Pioche, Alain MarÈchal and Jean-Pierre Bidon, former heads of INTERSTAT. They will work with Julian Bond, Head of Innovation modelling at RI to develop this new offer.

STAT'COM says its modelling is based on three key elements: a permanently updated in-depth knowledge of marketing theory and consumer behavior theory; an outstanding capability in mathematics, statistics and data processing techniques; and a full knowledge of practical questions arising every day in the marketing departments of its clients.

MicroTest Nouveau is expected to launch on January 2nd, 2009.

According to Bond: 'This is a fantastic move. Alain Pioche has always been a great pioneer in the area of modeling and by partnering with STAT'COM we are able to expand our forecasting expertise to create an approach that will be world leading.' Pioche returns the compliment: 'For me, Research International is an ideal partner as we will be able to apply our models on a much grander, global scale.'
