Global Role for Hall & Partners' European CEO

In the UK, Omnicom-owned brand and communications research specialist Hall & Partners has promoted Vanella Jackson to the post of Worldwide CEO. She replaces Terry Willie, who is leaving at the end of the year to pursue private interests.

Vanella JacksonJackson joined the firm in 2004 to run its European operations. During her time as CEO in the London office, she has grown turnover from £12.9m to a 2008 forecast of £21m, has built the agency's digital research capabilities, and added 'state-of-the-art' research techniques.

Prior to joining, Jackson spent 27 years in the ad agency sector; latterly as Head of Planning at Bates UK, and before this, at AMV BBDO, JWT, Woollams Moira, Y&R, BBH and Hedger Mitchell Stark.

'Hall & Partners has been a major success story in the last few years and we will be sorry to see Terry Willie leave the business but we respect his reasons,' Tom Harrison, Chairman and CEO of sister company DAS commented. 'We wish Vanella Jackson every good fortune in the new appointment as the business consolidates its position in the US and Europe and begins to look at other geographic markets.'

Hall & Partners conducts research into the impact a brand's communication has on consumers, and offers qual, quant, local, international, consumer and healthcare research to help understand brand and advertising issues.

Earlier in the year, the company partnered with digital ad firm Agency Republic to produce a model to enable brands to measure impact and engagement for all forms of digital communications.
