Acquisition for WebVisible

Online local ad firm WebVisible, Inc. has acquired Adapt Technologies, Inc. (Adapt SEM), which develops Web-based applications for automating the management of search engine marketing campaigns.

WebVisible, established in 2001 and located in Irvine, CA, provides simple and scalable pay-per-click, banner ads, call-based products and ROI measurement tools. Its Geneva software platform automatically manages the entire lifecycle from order management and creative development to optimisation. Software from Pasadena-based Adapt SEM will bring additional features for campaign management, optimization and analytics reporting.

These include a high-end keyword intelligence and search query semantic engine; robust ad copy and landing page testing; comprehensive cost-per-action (CPA) tracking; and tools to conduct detailed competitive analysis of keyword coverage, average search-rank position and market share.

WebVisible CEO Kirsten Mangers says Adapt's 'incredible talent and outstanding technology' will help her company to extend its software platform and enhance product offerings, as well as providing enhanced solutions for agency partners.

Adapt's General Manager Erick Herring comments: 'Combining our unique campaign tools and algorithms with the Geneva platform will provide our current clients, WebVisible's partners and the marketplace with an end-to-end solution for conversion-focused advertisers or the agencies representing them.' Existing Adapt SEM customers will see no interruption in services and will access the application online as normal.
