UK Group Adds Five Execs

UK-based Munro Global has expanded teams at two of its subsidiaries, FDS International and acefieldwork, with five appointments in the last few weeks.

The new arrivals at the shared offices of the two firms at Hill House in north London are Andrea Kennard, Derek Brasier, Dalila Magdu, Sam Carter and Louise Park.

Kennard joins acefieldwork as a Project Manager, after nine month stints at each of the Independent Fieldwork Company and ORC International. Her experience covers management of quant surveys using face-to-face, telephone and postal methodologies, and moderating and reporting qual studies.

The other four appointments are at FDS. Brasier joins the B2B team as an SRE, following three years at The Strategic Council in Toronto. His experience includes running a nationwide study of 40,000 undergraduates and carrying out public opinion research for the government of Ontario.

Magdu becomes an SRE in the Social and Consumer team. She worked previously at Dr Foster Intelligence on the NHS Choices project, and has experience in other local authority research including social security.

Carter and Park join the FDS graduate recruitment initiative. Carter recently graduated with a degree in Politics at Essex University, specialising in quantitative political analysis and will work mainly on ad hoc projects, primarily with SRE Andrew Powell. Park, a graduate in Human Sciences from Oxford University, will work with the FDS Social and Consumer team.

Munro was formed in June 2006 and also includes research firms Maven Research, M-Lab, and 300ft strategic Insight. Group turnover is forecasted to exceed £10.5m in the current year and web sites are at www.fds.co.uk , www.acefieldwork.co.uk and www.munroglobal.net .
