SPSS Launches Statistics Blog
In Germany, MR software and predictive analytics giant SPSS has launched a statistics blog to provide users with a source of information on various aspects of statistics in market research, marketing, financial services and other sectors.
Michaela Kagerer, Marketing Director Central Europe, explained that the blog will provide a forum through which less mainstream issues can be discussed, and will also offer a valuable 'dialogue' platform for users.
In addition, the firm will be able to use the site to communicate information about its own new products and services.
Initial contributions are invited on market size in the B2B market, the scientific exploration of sensory impressions, social networks as an important source for analysis, and new insights from the Statistical Yearbook.
Chicago, US-headquartered SPSS was founded in 1968 and its German branch was opened in 1986. In Germany and Austria, the firm currently has around 70 employees.
