mo'web Appoints in UK, Opens in US

Full service online research agency mo'web has appointed Cathrene Rowel as its new Director, replacing Tom Fuller who has returned to the States to set up the firm's first US operations.

mo'web, which was founded in 2002, currently has offices in Düsseldorf, Germany and Northwick Cheshire, UK and employs around 17 full-time employees and 23 regular freelancers. Its online panels cover every European market and selected American, Asian and African markets.

The new office is planned to open in March. Fuller will market the firm's services to research agencies and client companies based in the US. He joined the company in 2007, having previously worked as MD at Internet Market Research Services (IMRS).

Managing Director Herbert Höckel says the company is currently experience a 'growing interest' for its services outside the main five European markets.

Rowell joins with nine years in the market research industry, having previously worked at agencies Random International, RMM Marketing Research International and Gelszus Marktforschung, as well as having formed her own consultancy in 2007.

In her new role, she will join the team led by Höckel who comments: 'In addition to her prominence in the market research network, Cathrene has the right mix of character, expertise and experience to help us build upon mo'web's excellent track record for quality online market research.'
