Schlesinger Launches Health Care Community

US data collection firm Schlesinger Associates has launched an online patient health and wellness community, built and managed by partner firm Inspire; and has promoted Amber Leila Jones to the position of Executive Vice President to lead the initiative.

Amber Leila JonesThe new InspireOpinions platform combines Schlesinger's healthcare data collection and panel experience, with Inspire's community of more than 100,000 panel members to provide online surveys for qual healthcare research.

Each Inspire member belongs to at least one of 170 different health and wellness communities, with topics ranging from cancer and rare disease groups to more general health conditions like diabetes and arthritis groups.

Commenting on the new service, CEO Steve Schlesinger said: 'This partnership is a very important step forward in expanding and enhancing our healthcare qual and quant services. We believe that the live community nature of InspireOpinions will bring a truly unique offering for researchers seeking to connect with patients and healthcare professionals.'

Jones joined the firm in 2006 as Vice President, responsible for Global Management Field Services, which involved managing a department of seven across two continents. Prior to this, she was MD responsible for the daily operations of the Philadelphia and Bala Cynwyd offices, as well as assisting in the opening of new locations and training new staff.

Schlesinger Associates, which was founded in 1966, is based at 14 sites throughout the US and in London through its Research House operations.
