Ipsos Launches Omnibus Series in MENA Region

Ipsos has rolled out its Omnibus Tracker Series in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). The service provides data and key market indicators on the major business sectors in the territory.

The series offers ongoing syndicated multi-country research, rolled out simultaneously and regularly across three markets (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait), and three countries in the Levant and North African region, covering (Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt).

Through Ipsos' Banking & Credit Tracker, Global Economic Crisis Tracker, Consumer Confidence Tracker, Automotive Tracker and others, the firm can a number of key deliverables. These include: awareness of the global economic crisis and expectations on how long the crisis will last; confidence level in investing in the stock market, real estate, and household durables; confidence in job security; confidence with banks and banking sector; and the level of reduced spending on monthly household expenses.

The tracker series offers six waves per year, using both CAPI (face-to-face - Computer Assisted Personal Interviews), and CATI methodology (telephone - Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews).

Coverage of Syria, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Palestine, Tunis, Iraq and Iran will be launched later in 2009 and 2010.
