ForeSee Launches Web Usability Tool

Online customer satisfaction metrics agency ForeSee Results has launched a tool that records what web site visitors are seeing and doing online in a real-time movie format.

The new CS SessionReplay tool records users' mouse clicks and movements, page scrolling, form entry and all interactivity with a web site.

The firm says this addition to its suite of predictive customer satisfaction analytics will enable companies to watch the actual experiences of selected site visitors in order to get a deeper view of their online experience without the artificial environment or expense of a usability lab.

It will also enable ForeSee to provide a single platform which links recordings of visitor sessions, customer satisfaction scores and impacts, comments and feedback about a site, and third-party data.

'This product extension will incorporate a whole new dimension of analysis for our clients that raw data alone cannot provide,' said Drew Bennett, Senior Product Director. 'Our unique methodology identifies the sessions that are of most use and relevance; actually watching the session provides additional depth and color to understanding the user experience.'

The company acquired the technology behind CS SessionReplay from software development firm Nitobi, and says it has since carried out extensive product enhancements and improvements to integrate it into its existing platform.

Using the methodology of the University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), ForeSee Results identifies the improvements to web sites and other online initiatives which generate the most ROI. Last year, the company partnered with web analytics firm OX2/LBi to offer behavioural and satisfaction-based metrics to clients in Europe.
