WPP Takes Stake in MR Agency Down Under 10/5/00 The WPP group has acquired a minority stake in Australian Internet market research company, IMR Worldwide. Shortly to trade under the Red Sheriff name, clients include nine of the ten leading Australian dot.coms, such as Ozemail, Telstra and F2. Outside Australia, Red Sheriff has offices in the UK and Italy, and plans for expansion during 2000 include new offices in France, Germany and New Zealand.
