Forrester Research and Information Resources have announced the formation of Netquity, a joint venture to deliver Internet research to brand managers.

The research service will provide consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies with information and analysis regarding Internet strategies.

According to Forrester, CPG companies will be able to use Netquity to integrate Internet initiatives into their business-planning processes. The service will provide CPG marketers with research reports and data that analyse the Internet trends impacting on brand marketing. Netquity's first report, "A New Channel For Old Brands," is currently being released to clients.
