Wanadoo, the ISP arm of France Telecom, and Ipsos-ASI have signed an agreement which will allow advertisers to evaluate the effectiveness of online campaigns, the Post-test Online.

This partnership, which for the first time in the French advertising sector brings together a market research company and an ISP, will allow Wanadoo advertisers to analyse the ongoing effectiveness of their interactive campaigns.

Tests will be carried out online, with 300 male and female surfers (aged over 15). These respondents will have been recruited online via banner adverts on Wanadoo. The following questions will be asked:

  • Has the campaign been seen?

  • Has it reinforced the links to the brand?

  • Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Advertisers will not only be able to judge their own online performance in light of these tests, but also through the IPSOS-ASI link, will be able to benchmark against the competition and evaluate the company's media plan as a whole.
