New Specialist Research Unit Launched

magenta, the new information management consultancy from the MRSL Group, has
launched a specialist research unit for new media and commerce called
i-magen.
As well as promoting electronic (or 'e') and mobile (or 'm') data collection
techniques (e.g. web-based surveys, email groups, mobile polls, etc.), the
unit aims to provide valued-added research-based consultancy, combining the
best of traditional methods and new media information collection techniques.
The unit operates in all B2B and B2C sectors, including: IT, telecoms and
in-home and in-business technology.
i-magen is headed up by Darren Noyce, Research Director with magenta.
Darren's considerable experience in this sector (having worked on Internet,
IT and telecoms surveys since 1995) is supported by other magenta
consultants including John Kelly, Don Beverly and Tim Baker. i-magen's
portfolio of services already includes the successful SiteMark™ for website
evaluations, Insight Online™ for net-based qualitative research, and Reality
Check for 3D virtual reality store design tests. i-magen will be testing
mobile research applications in the near future.
