For those MrWeb readers who need to interpret and use research and sales
data and draw conclusions on a regular basis, the two day forthcoming
conference on 21 and 22 September organised by Henry Stewart Conferences may
prove helpful.
The conference, ‘Understanding the Mathematical and Statistical Techniques
used in Marketing’, is being run in association with the Journal of
Targeting, Measurement and Analysis for Marketing.
The aim of the event is to brief delegates on the mathematical and
statistical techniques used in state of the art marketing. It intends to
describe what the techniques are, what they can achieve, when they should be
used and when they are not appropriate.
The line up of speakers includes Dominic Buck of Product Perceptions,
Corrine Moy of NOP, Keith Dugmore of Demographic Decisions, Rory Morgan of
Research International and Ian Goodliffe of CACI.
