Snowball, a leading online network for members of the so-called 'Generation
i ' (the new Internet generation of Web-centric young adults) is setting up a
marketing research division IQuestics. This will focus on gathering
information on the 13-30 year-old age band for Fortune 500 companies and
Snowball's strategic partners and advertisers.
IQuestics will conduct research using a variety of online methods, including
web-based surveys, discussion boards, Internet polling and online focus
groups. With access to eight million unique visitors (according to latest
Media Metrix results) that log onto Snowball every month, IQuestics will
have a larger pool of Generation i members than any other research firm.
According to Kim Bastoni, VP of IQuestics, "Snowball, which has a better
understanding of Generation i than any other site on the Internet, built its
reputation by knowing what appeals to its core users. Using our
state-of-the-art research tools, we can pass along our findings to Fortune
500 companies and Snowball's strategic partners and advertisers."
Snowball aggregates top Generation i produced websites and brings its active
Net-centric audience to companies that offer products and services targeted
to this demographic group. Its networks include ChickClick.com, IGN.com,
HighSchoolAlumni.com, PowerStudents.com and SportsUniversity.com.
