Harris Interactive and MRSL to Forge Internet Research Efforts in UK

Harris Interactive has signed an agreement with MRSL, Market Research
Solutions Ltd., a leading market research firm based in the United Kingdom
(UK), making it the newest Harris Interactive Global Network member.
According to Roger Landells, Chairman of MRSL, "We are very excited to now
be a part of this research network, and we have always had tremendous
respect for the capabilities of the Harris Interactive team. To have an
opportunity to apply their innovative resources to our business and to work
with them in the UK will be like making it into the World Series!"
MRSL offers a consultancy based service that addresses not only research
issues, but the marketing assumptions that underlie those issues. The
company’s experience encompasses a broad research background and expertise,
including senior marketing posts in major fast-moving consumer goods (fmcg)
companies and research agencies. MRSL capabilities include quantitative,
qualitative and e-research methods.

and CEO of Harris Interactive. "MRSL’s clients already value their
marketing contributions and their creative approach for developing effective
solutions. This new alliance will open an important market for Harris
Interactive to expand Internet research technology and resources to further
develop their capabilities and business".
In a separate piece of news MRSL has appointed Professor Martin Callingham
as a non executive director.
Martin Callingham was most recently Research Director of Whitbread Plc.
creating and selling market research and marketing services to Whitbread’s
13 businesses, including such names as Café Rouge, Marriotts and TGI
Fridays.
Martin is also visiting Professor in Spatial Analysis and Statistics at
Birkbeck College - part of the University of London and is an acknowledged
expert in the application of geo demography to market research.
