Taylor Nelson Sofres has appointed Andrew Czarnowski to the role of Retail
Director of its Superpanel division. He replaces Allan Breese, who is now
International Account Director for Europanel, a 50 / 50 joint venture
between TNS and GfK.
Mr Czarnowski has been a retail specialist within TNS for eight years: he
has previously held research posts with Daimler-Benz in Germany, Yorkshire
Television and the Mirror Group. He returns to the UK from Dublin, where he
has been based since 1998, setting up the all-Ireland scanning panels for
Superpanel Ireland.
According to Judith Passingham, MD, TNS Consumer Panels, "This is a dynamic
period in British retailing, and we are delighted Andrew has taken up this
role at such a demanding time. His experience both of the retail industry
and of panel methodology is particularly valuable to Superpanel now as we
upgrade from 10,000 to 15,000 households."
Andrew Czarnowski added: "Consumers are becoming increasingly more important
to retailers, and I am very excited about the range of services we are
currently developing that will contribute to this side of the business. I am
looking forward to working with our clients on all these new, as well as
existing, projects."
Taylor Nelson Sofres Superpanel is Great Britain’s leading continuous
consumer panel. It provides comprehensive purchasing information on the
majority of household and groceries markets. The sample is increasing from
10,000 to 15,000 households at the beginning of 2001, making it the largest
continuously recording panel of its kind in Europe and confirming Superpanel
as the industry standard for measurement of consumer purchasing.
