The ABC of MR from BMRA
28/2/01

Want a chance to brush up on the basics of market research? The BMRA has announced a special one day training session on the 16th March, billed as a handy and practical introduction to all aspects of the research process.

The training day has been designed as a workshop to actively involve attendees in the whole learning experience. Comprehensively, it should provide a guide through all the stages of an example research project including ideas for tackling the research, potential pitfalls, practicalities of questionnaire design and interpretation, and presentation of final results.

The three course tutors are Jill Carter, Managing Director of Abacus Research, Norman Law, Director of JMA Research and Sally Webb, Partner of Strategic Research Costs. Together they will run the day’s programme, detailed as:

  • Responding to a client brief.
  • The research agency’s proposal.
  • Group discussions and depth interviews.
  • Questionnaire design.
  • Analysis tools.
  • Debrief and presentation of results.

The costs of attending are £145.00 per delegate for BMRA members and £245.00 per delegate for non-members. Full details are available on the BMRA website.
