The Yankee Group has announced that Carlos Perry will become a new executive vice president, international. He has already served five years with the group, and is being promoted from senior VP for Latin America, the Pacific Rim, Asia, and Africa.
Perry's new responsibilities will include managing the company's fast-growing European research and consulting business, and establishing London as the headquarters for the Yankee Group's international operations. One particularly important aspect of Perry's responsibilities will be the launch of the group's new Hong Kong office in the spring of 2001, along with the expansion of its offices in Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Spain, Germany and the UK. He is also tasked with developing the group’s e-business market research products from their successes in the North American market.
Prior to joining the Yankee Group, Perry worked as a consultant in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Milan, Italy, and as a market research analyst in Budapest, Hungary.
