NetValue Expands into Italian Internet Research

Onetone Research has announced an exclusive partnership with NetValue to deliver Internet audience and behaviour information for the Italian marketplace. The first data is likely to be available within a few months


Onetone Research, part of the Onetone group, operates a representative panel of approximately 2,500 online households. Founded in 1999, the company provided the first data regarding Internet audience measurement to the Italian market in early 2000. Onetone Research reports and custom analysis are now used by more than 40 clients in Italy.

The rescruited household panels will be converted to NetValue's metering and analysis technology under the terms of the new contract. Onetone Research are also set to act as the exclusive vendor of NetValue products and services to Italian users, including both standard and custom panels. The agreement also details that NetValue will install its technology on Onetone Research's panel in exchange for a licensing fee and a revenue share.

It is thought that the agreement is a result of NetValue's desire ro gain access to the Italian market and fulfils its commitment towards complete coverage of key European countries. "Italian data has been in high demand, especially from customers in the financial community. We are very enthusiastic about this agreement, which is the first of its kind. It combines the solid approach and strong market position achieved by Onetone Research with the superior technology and global coverage of NetValue," said Lennart Brag, Chairman and CEO of NetValue.
